Strawberry Bath Oil Beads And . . .

I enjoyed a nice long soak with some of my beautiful holiday presents, this morning. May I just say Ahhhhh! (Also who invented bath oil beads? Because as wonderful as they are they are terribly dangerous. Tub. Slick. Nearly killed myself getting out. Enough said.) Also I now feel as though I’ve taken a bath in an entire tub of strawberry body oil. I smell wonderful, but I can’t hold anything in my hands or keep my sleeves rolled up. Satiny smooth and silky soft are good things but perhaps too much of a good thing all at once. Still. Strawberry Wink! Can you stand how adorable that is? Totally scrumptious.

I am also currently enjoying the candy that my family received in an adorable holiday package. Peanut butter and chocolate and little Christmas ball thingies of chocolate. Did I mention chocolate is my favorite brunch item? (Ummm. Tiny Reese’s Cups.) Yes. Since I got up late and took a long soak, I’m having a late brunch.

One resolution is to cut down on the amount of chocolate I eat. Good thing major chocolate holidays come only a few times a year. Spring (twice) and Winter (twice). One of those is Valentine’s Day. (I think I may have counted it twice. Sometimes Feb. 14th is like spring and sometimes it’s like winter. Hmmm?)
