Minecraft Show and Tip: Part 4
This is (you can't really tell because of all the darn snow -- but trust me) the sandy island. This is the original cactus, standing where it originally was. I built a looong, mob spawning, cobble bridge out to the sandy island and surrounded the (I believe) three layers of sand, with cobble along the outside of the top layer of sand. No fear of accidentally knocking the whole thing down. (Unless, of course, you accidentally meet up with a Creeper when you don't have a stone sword.) Made a nice wall around the edge, so I don't accidentally fall off. (Also, there is a short set of steps directly behind me, leading up, maybe two stair sets from the bridge. The steps have cobble sides, too.)
